many assistive technologies.
Accessible
Multimedia: Captioning Video
Captioning digital media is a necessary step to ensure the accessibility
of multimedia presentations delivered over the World Wide Web. MAGpie is
a tool that can assist Web content authors with the creation of captioned
multimedia for their Web pages. Participants in this training will have
the opportunity to transcribe multimedia clips, synchronize the transcriptions
with the multimedia presentations using MAGpie, and link the captioned content
to a Web page.
Testing
for Web Accessibility
There are many tools available to assist you in testing web pages and web
sites for accessibility. None of these software tools can do the whole job
and determine that your page or site is accessible. This course will discuss
the power of the tools - what can and cannot be tested - and provide an
overview of a number of software testing tools.
